I've heard people don't go to school and just apprentice at a salon to get their hours done. I live in CA, and I was just wondering if you still have to take any classes too, before you become an apprentice.Can you work at a salon as an apprentice stylist without attending school?
No you can't. You have to pass a state test before you can cut peoples hair for money.Can you work at a salon as an apprentice stylist without attending school?
You can probably work as an apprentice without attending school but your hours will not count and you will not obtain the needed license./
